Test this weekend

We have our first test this weekend at Oulton Park. This Saturday with the friendly Wirral 100 club.
Yesterday, yes BH monday and slightly hungover i went in to work and stripped the brand new ZX10 engine. I was in 2 minds whether to go all the way with it but after finding this slightly  picked up main bearing i'm so glad i did!

I'm not planning to tune this engine much but rather make a very sweet running machine.
The crank is being balanced along with the pistons, rods etc and this is Kindly being organised by SPR Racing of Ruddington.
Due to time restraints (and because i'm not that good) i have asked a good friend from the Scooter Tuning world to tidy the head up for me. He is a very intelligent young man and i look forward to seeing his career progress.
I'll be doing the final build myself and making the final decisions but its so great to have this help.
Tonight the old 600 has finally sold and now this has released a bit more cash for us. 😄
Me and my main man Tommo have rechecked the clutch on the superbike and fitted the new brake lines tonight. Clutch is yet to be tested but last time out it was dragging a lot so we've tried to find out why.
I've had another nice contribution from Delph Control Systems this week which has been such a nice suprise with all the money thats being spent at the minute.
Heres a few pics of the build.
Much much tidier brake lines
One Strippppppped ZX10
Lots of room for improvement on this Head.
Cassette Gearbox. A mechanics dream!
